Körös River

Körös (Romanian: Criș, German: ''Kreisch'') is the name of a 195 km long river in eastern Hungary. It is formed at the confluence of the rivers Fehér-Körös (Romanian: ''Crișul Alb'') and Fekete-Körös (Romanian: ''Crișul Negru'') near Gyula. This reach is also called the Kettős-Körös River
All three rivers, Crișul Alb (Fehér-Körös), Crișul Negru (Fekete-Körös) and Crișul Repede (Sebes-Körös), have their source in the Apuseni Mountains in Transylvania, Romania.
Kettős-Körös. with a length of 37,3 km is formed at the confluence of Crișul Alb and Crișul Repede, near the Hungarian town Gyula
The Crișul Repede (Hungarian: ''Sebes-Körös'') flows into the Hármas-Körös near Gyomaendrőd.
The lower reach, after the confluence of the three rivers is known as Criș or Hármas-Körös flows into the Tisza River near Csongrád.
It was known in antiquity as the "Chrysus", ''Crisus'', ''Crisia'', ''Grisia'', or ''Gerasus'', while an archaic German name is ''Kreisch''.
